New Delhi: The legal battle between Ajay Devgn Films and Yash Raj Films has raised the stakes for 'Son of Sardaar'. Now, it's the time to resolve the dispute at the box office. 'Son of Sardaar' might have got relatively lesser number of screens but Ajay Devgn's track record at the ticket window in recent years is capable enough of making any superstar envy. He teamed up with Bollywood's latest lucky charm Sonakshi Sinha for director Ashwni Dhir's 'Son of Sardaar'.

'Son of Sardaar' is a remake of a Telugu film 'Maryada Ramanna' in which Sanjay Dutt is playing the chief antagonist. Salman Khan will showcase his star power in a friendly appearance.

The film didn't lose the battle against 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' in the first promotional phase and is expected to give 'JTHJ' a run for money at the box office too.
