Soil testing on Metro corridor

HYDERABAD: Dealing with a writ appeal filed by the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) challenging the orders of a single judge, the division bench of the AP High Court on Friday permitted the HMRL to take up survey and soil testing works relating to corridor-III of the metro rail project in the segment of Greenlands-Shilparamam stretch.The bench, posted the case for hearing to second week of June.On Friday, advocate general A Sudarshan Reddy told the bench that a detailed survey would be carried out to find out how each structure would be affected due to project works.The HMRL would conduct the survey without resorting to demolition.
