London: A six inch long pug is up for the title of the world's smallest dog, a media report said.

The pug is just 6 inches long and weighs one pound six ounces - four ounces less than the Guinness World Record holder, Brandy the chihuahua, 'The Sun' reported.

The pug is a 'toy' (very small) breed of dog with a wrinkly, short-muzzled face, and curled tail. The breed has a fine, glossy coat that comes in a variety of colours, and a compact square body with well-developed muscle.

But, vets think five-month-old Gracie is suffering from dwarfism. This is because pugs are normally at least 10 inches high but Gracie is under 6 inches.

She is too small for a dog lead and wears a kitten harness when owner Sandra Devall walks her in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. Sandra, 61, said: "Everyone stops and crowds round.

She loves it."

The Kennel Club said: "This is unusually small."

What's your reaction?
