SEC releases 5 lakh wall-posters

CHENNAI: The State Election Commission has released five lakh wall-posters to create awareness about the elections to local bodies.There are seven types of wall-posters and the administration and other local bodies have been instructed to give wide publicity about these posters.  They will be displayed at places like bus stands, railways stations, cinema theatres, where public gather in large numbers.  These posters will be displayed near polling booths also. Already, the awareness campaign is on through Aavin milk sachets.
