Re-Survey offices raided

KOCHI: The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Ernakulam unit, conducted surprise raids on offices of the Assistant Director of Re- Survey in Ernakulam, Palakkad and Thrissur. Superintendent offices under these offices and taluk offices that receive applications for resurvey were also checked by the VACB officials.The VACB has found out that applications for re-survey are delayed and registration not done in proper time, the officials said. The VACB has also found that many officials are taking the files and applications to home. There were over 10,000 pending applications in Ottappalam taluk alone.
