Randhawa shot a second round 72 but still missed the cut by one.
Seville: Jyoti Randhawa and Shiv Kapur missed the halfway cut after rather disappointing second rounds at the Open de Espana at the Real Club de Golf here.
Randhawa shot a second round 72 but still missed the cut by one, while Kapur too shot a 72 but his first round 77 ended his hopes on Friday.
Swede Johan Edfors charged into the Open de España lead with an eight under par 64.
Edfors, who has not shot lower on The European Tour since a closing 63 won him the 2006 Barclays Scottish Open, goes into the weekend 10 under par and one ahead of England's Mark Foster and Spaniard Sebi Garcia.
