HUBLI: Authorities of South Western and South Central Railway (SWR/SCR) have suspended some railway staff for negligence, in connection with the Hubli-Bangalore Hampi Express mishap near Penukonda on May 22, which left 25 dead.The suspended staff are: M Sri Ramulu, Penukonda Station Master-III; C Ramanjaneyulu, Traffic Inspector, Hindupur; B S Chatrappa, Commercial Inspector, Hospet Station; P Hanumanthappa, Sr Commercial Clerk of Parcel Office, Hospet Station (all SWR); M Yesu Ratnam, loco pilot, Guntakal division; G Balaraju, assistant loco pilot of Guntakal Division; and V Vinod Kumar, Loco Inspector, Guntakal division; (all SCR).
