Sachin Pilot, Congress MP from Dausa in Rajasthan, said the blasts were a terrorist attack. "It is unfortunate that the terrorists have attacked Jaipur. It is meant to create havoc, especially at a time when the area sees a lot of congestion," he told CNN-IBN
"We condemn such attacks. At the moment we need to be calm and deal with it properly and then fight the culprits," he added.
Pilot also referred to the Ajmer blasts and said that there were some reports that Rajasthan could be made the center of terrorist attacks.
However, he added that it was impossible for the police to man the entire city.
"The timing of the blasts suggest that it was meant to create panic at the time of IPL matches. No one has claimed responsibility as yet, thought it seems the work of a terrorist organisation. We are worried at the moment but we have to stay calm," he stated.
