California Teacher Accused Of Awarding Bonus To Students Who Take Fewer Toilet Breaks

A California teacher has been accused of cruelty. The person is said to award bonus points to students who don’t take a bathroom break during class. A parent has leaked this bizarre bathroom rule in a post on social media, that has gained widespread attention among the public. In the viral post, the mother of a child has shared that her daughter’s maths teacher has set this cruel rule, that they will get only one bathroom pass per week, and if they don’t use it, they get academic extra credit. The mother added, “I am Livid”, without identifying her daughter’s age. She added that she feels justified in her action, while her child believes it might be excessive, “But my daughter is mad that I want to email the teacher and CC the principal. Am I wrong here?”.

The post which was shared on X on September 5, has garnered 16 million views. This incident has fueled a lot of debate among users on social media. Commenting on her post, another parent shared a similar incident that happened with her daughter and it was the same teacher who held her pee for the last 30 minutes of the class.

Many users have commented to take serious action against this teacher as it might lead to serious health conditions.

Many such incidents come to light showcasing the harsh and cruel policies behind every school. In a similar scenario, an Ahmedabad Math teacher at the Madhav Public School in Vatva, Abhishek Patel was caught slamming a student against the wall and pulling his hair on CCTV footage from inside the classroom. He had also slapped the student several times and thrashed him to the ground, mentioned a report. The school has also suspended Patel following an order by the District Education Officer. The teacher has been taken into custody by Vatva police. As per the report, legal action will be taken against that teacher.

Another similar incident also took place when a government teacher was arrested in Rajasthan’s Tonk for allegedly molesting and showing obscene videos to girls of Class 5.
