Pipe-burst: Water supply restored

The Kerala Water Authority (KWA) on Sunday rectified the water supply pipe which had burst during the flyover works at the Parthas Junction on Saturday.

‘’The works were completed on Sunday morning and supply was restored in low-lying locations by noon,’’ said an official.

‘’Supply to certain areas, including Vanchiyoor and Pettah, will be restored by Sunday evening,’’ he added.

The 375-mm cast iron pipe burst during the drilling works as part of the flyover construction.
