Passengers Get Suspicious at ‘TTE’ Checking Tickets, Collecting ‘Fines’. This is What Happens Next
Passengers on board Patalkot Express got suspicious at a woman wearing a jacket and posing as a TTE. When she could not show her job card, they became more suspicious

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested a fake TTE who was checking the tickets of passengers in a train at Jhansi Railway Division and extorting money from them in the name of fines. The woman had boarded the train from Dholpur.

Following the complaint of the passengers, the RPF took her off the rain at Dabra railway station and handed her over to the Government Railway Police (GRP).

Chandrapal Singh, a resident of Baragaon in Jhansi who was a teacher by profession posted at Mathura, was travelling from Mathura to Jhansi by Patalkot Express. Singh informed RPF that a woman was checking the tickets of passengers in the General compartment calling herself a TTE and collecting money from passengers in the name of fines. The woman was wearing a jacket in the heat, which further made the passengers suspicious.

The women personnel of RPF took the accused off the train as soon as the train reached Dabra station. The woman was interrogated by the authorities and the security forces. The fake TTE then was brought to Jhansi. The RPF registered a case against her at the GRP police station.

The woman was wearing a jacket and wore an ID card around her neck which made her look like an actual TTE. The video of the incident has gone viral. The passengers asked the TTE about her job number to which she refused.

The woman said, “I cannot say right now because checking is going on. If you do not have a ticket, there is no problem. I have come to check tickets. Madam has asked me to come. Otherwise, why would I come. I do not go here. I go to Madhya Pradesh.”

In response to this, a passenger said that the railways is in the domain of the central government and she can be transferred anywhere. To this, the woman threatened and said, “Get off the train. I will ask the GRP to talk to you.”
