Odisha: 14-year-old girl, who was allegedly gangraped, set on fire, dies

Bhubaneswar: The 14-year-old girl, who was allegedly gangraped in Kendrapara district in July 2013, died in a hospital in Bhubaneswar on Thursday. After being raped, the woman was allegedly set on fire by the accused.

Tensions prevailed outside the hospital due to constant protests by the women activists. Police was deployed outside the place, of her death, to take charge of the situation.

The two accused in this case were arrested by the state police. More details are awaited.
