NAMAKKAL: An 80-year-old man from Kumarapalayam has sent a petition to Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa charging two DMK men with usurping his land. S Ammasai Gounder of New Pallipalayam Road said the DMK men fabricated documents to usurp his land, measuring about 60 cents. After handing over the copy of the complaint to the Superintendent of Police here on Thursday, Gounder said Pallipalayam panchayat union chairman S Balu alias Kokku Balu and Kundapalayam panchayat president R Velmurugan had threatened him and his family members with dire consequences, if they tried to step into the land.Gounder alleged that Erode-based M Sachidandhavel made a fake document to show that his relative Pavayee had purchased the land. Balu and Velmurugan were also involved in it.
