The UP Board 10th, and 12th compartment examination 2024 results have been declared by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP). Students who took the exam can check the results at upmsp.edu.in, upresults.nic.in, and results.upmsp.edu.in. The results of the compartment board examination were declared by UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh.
The UPMSP conducted high school and intermediate compartment or improvement exams on July 20 in two shifts — from 8 am to 11:15 am and from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. It took place across 93 exam centres in the state. All the class 10 students who took the compartment exam passed. While 90.97 per cent of the students who the class 12 compartment exams cleared it.
As per the statistics, a total of 20729 candidates including 16059 boys and 4670 girls registered in the high school compartment and improvement examination. While 18882 candidates including 14619 boys and 4263 girls appeared in the examination. On the other hand, a total of 23634 candidates including 13395 boys and 10239 girls registered for the inter-compartment examination. 22298 candidates including 12518 boys and 9780 girls appeared in the exam. 22284 candidates including 11369 boys and 8915 girls passed the examination. The passing percentage of boys in the examination was 90.82 and the passing percentage of female candidates was 91.16 per cent.
UP Board Compartment Result 2024: How to check UPMSP 10th, 12th Result?
Step 1- Go to the official website of UP Board upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in.
Step 2- The link to UP Board Compartment Result 2024 will be visible on the homepage of the website. Click on the link of the class for which you want to check the result.
Step 3- Enter the necessary details like roll number, and date of birth on the page that will open on your screen.
Step 4- After this click on submit.
The UP Board Compartment Exam is held for candidates who have failed to secure passing marks. Candidates can take the examination for one subject only. Even if a candidate has failed in two subjects, they can select only one subject for the examination. Class 12 students who failed in one subject within their preferred stream (Science, Commerce, and Humanities) or in one paper of Agriculture Part 1 and 2 are eligible to appear for the compartment examination.
This year, around 89.55 per cent of students passed the Class 10 final board exams, while 82.60 per cent of students passed the Class 12 board exam. Prachi Nigam emerged as the state topper in the 10th grade, while Shubham Verma secured the first position in the 12th grade. The final results were issued in April for over 55 lakh students.
