Nursing student hangs self in hostel

GUNTUR: A first year nursing student committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling of her hostel room at Narsaraopet on Wednesday. Goda Savitri(18), a resident of Tharlapadu village of Prakasam district, was pursuing her first year at Navachaitanya Nursing School.
Goda Peda Pichhaiah, father of the deceased, who lodged a complaint at Narsaraopet police station, said that his daughter was suffering from stomach pain for the last one year. However, he denied that that might let Savitri to end her life.According to the collage management, Savitri attended her classes on Tuesday. But, she left for her room saying that she had stomach pain. She did not even attend the revision class.
