New Delhi: The metal-framed Nokia Lumia 830 is what Microsoft calls "the affordable flagship" of the Nokia Lumia family. The Windows Phone 8.1 device priced at 330 euros (about Rs 26,200) is also the thinnest and lightest Lumia yet with an 8.5mm thin profile.
The Lumia 830 has a 10 megapixel rear camera along with a 1 megapixel front camera and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor. The phone has a 5-inch display with 1280x720 pixels resolution protected by Gorilla 3.0 glass.
The battery in the Lumia 830 is 2200 mAh and storage options include 16GB on-board with an additional 15GB free space available on Microsoft's OneDrive and the phone also supports microSD cards of up to 128GB.
Lumia 830 will come with the Lumia Denim update that introduces features such as Live Folders, Apps Corner and an updated Glance screen.
In tune with the Lumia tradition of colourful phones, the Lumia 830 will be available in bright orange, bright green, white and black colour options.
The phone will go on sale globally this month.
Nokia also unveiled two other phones Lumia 730 and Lumia 735 with 5 megapixel wide-angle front cameras targeted towards the ever-increasing number of selfie enthusiasts.
