New Delhi: Alongside the launch of the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 in India last month, Nokia had announced its mid-range Windows Phone 8 device - the Lumia 620. The company, in its press release, had said, "the Nokia Lumia 620 will start retailing in early February 2013." More than half the month has already passed by, but the Lumia 620 is nowhere to be seen on Indian store shelves.
When contacted by IBNLive, Nokia's spokesperson said, "the Lumia 620 will definitely be available in the first week of March." However, he refused to share the price details, but according to a source with information on the Lumia 620, the phone will be available for under Rs 20,000.
Nokia said the exact price of the Nokia Lumia 620 will be announced closer to its market availability. Once available, the Lumia 620 will be the most affordable in Nokia's range of Windows Phone 8 smartphones.
It has a 3.8-inch LCD display and a 5 megapixel rear camera. The phone, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor, will come in magenta, yellow, cyan, white and black.
