Man dies in clash

KOCHI: A clash between two groups over Wakf Board membership in Pazhangad led to the death of a man on Saturday night.  According to police, Abdul Khayum, 56, son of Usman, Kakkad house, was attacked by a group around 8.30 pm. Though he was taken to the hospital, he was declared ‘brought dead’.     Police said that no external injury was  found on the body during the preliminary examination. “The cause of death is yet to be known. Other details will be available only after postmortem,” police said.
