Mamta Mohandas will be playing the role of Janet, wife of JC Daniel in 'Celluloid'. The film is directed by Kamal.
A lot has been written about Kamal's take on the life of veteran film maker JC Daniel, through his upcoming movie 'Celluloid'. It was then reported that Samvrutha Sunil will be playing the role of Janet, the wife of J C Daniel, which will be her last film before her marriage.
But now it is finalized that Mamta Mohandas will be playing the role instead of Samvrutha, who may not be able to join the movie on time.
It is learned that the director Kamal has found a striking similarity between Mamta and the photos of Janet and decided to change. Mamta who had earlier been approached for Kamal's 'Aagathan' was not able to do the role then, due to her physical ailments. And this time Mamtha has got no plans to let this chance go.
