New Delhi: US First Lady may not be cooking muffins at home but Laura Bush's recipes are certainly any cook's delight.

From smoked shrimp's to mango salsa, carrot muffins, veg soup and cowboy cookies, the list is endless.

The recipes are put on the White House website and the First Lady has specially added two recipes for Women in the 'Women Health and Wellness' section.

However, her most popular recipe is Hot Cocoa.

The First Lady also has some advice for those trying the recipes: "Remember that cooking can be even duller than childrearing or any chore can be turned into fun with the right prescription!"

According to an article in The New York Times, the cookbooks are a favourite of the First Lady. The article states, "Laura Bush has a large collection of cookbooks that she dips into just for the pleasure of reading them. But when it's time to cook, she reaches for the tried and true."

The First Lady has a special recipe for Smoked Turkey fowl which has been named as Smoked Freedom Fowl.

"My mother told me that the way to hold on to a Texas man is to be a sizzler chef in the kitchen," she is quoted as saying in the First Lady's Recipe Box section.
