J&K: One dead, one injured in blast at a school in Ganderbal

Ganderbal: One person has died and one has been injured in a blast that took place at a school in Ganderbal in Jammu and Kashmir.

The incident happened at Manasbal open field school at 1PM.

The incident comes on a day when a group of terrorists attacked a BSF convoy in Udhampur and took 3 civilians hostage. The security forces have taken one terrorist alive who has been identified as 20-year-old Usman from Faisalabad in Pakistan.

Government sources said that the Udhampur attack is clearly a move to derail the National Security level talks scheduled for later this year.

Meanwhile, top officials of central agencies have been summoned for a meeting at the Home Ministry after the Udhampur attack.
