There is end to the Jat agitation which has brought Haryana to its knees. The death toll in the agitation has risen to 18 and around 150 others have been injured. Sources said that the Haryana government is indecisive over reservation for Jats.
The Manohar Lal Khattar government will only prepare a draft bill after talking to all stakeholders and it has not announced a time frame for the bill. This may not go down well with the protesters who have threatened to continue thir stir till they are not given quota under the OBC category.
Meanwhile, Delhi is reeling under major water crisis. Although the Munak Canal’s gates were opened but the sewage gates are severely damaged which will take at least two days to be repaired.
