Panaji: Actor Manoj Bajpayee feels that the Centenary Award for Indian film personality of the year has come 'really late' to superstar Rajinikanth. "Rajinikanth is such a big star, and the contribution that he has made to Indian cinema is also huge. I think the award has come really late," Manoj said on the opening ceremony of IFFI.

Manoj also discussed his plans to watch films at the 10-day long film festival. "I have decided to go through the list of the films to be screened at IFFI. Once I have done that I will definitely pick about 5 to 6 films which I have to watch here at the festival," he said.

As Manoj told us, the pace at which IFFI is improving is impressive. "The best thing about IFFI is that it improves a lot by the year. It is interesting to see all the new developments that happen at the festival."
