The unbearable heat is making itself heard with the onset of summer months. Especially for those people who travel on two wheelers, they are facing the sun’s direct heat. To deal with such a situation, two kind-hearted young volunteers have taken the initiative to set up shade for the public. The motorcyclists face a lot of inconvenience while waiting at traffic signals, as the heat becomes unbearable during the peak hours of the day. So, a young man from Villupuram, Tamil Nadu has placed a green tarpaulin cover over traffic lights at certain areas, for a short distance, to help the commuters in their travels, providing them with some relief from the heat.

As per more reports, these green covers are being put up at several places in Villupuram by Lokesh and his friend, shop owner Ahshraf. They have placed the tarpaulin cover, over three traffic light areas, at the four-corner junction, in Villupuram. According to more information, Lokesh runs an Instagram page called Voice of Villupuram, while Ashraf is the owner of a shop called Deen Mobile Service Centre. This thoughtful act by the two young men is being praised by the locals.

Tamil Nadu is going through a severe heat wave. Some earlier reports stated that the temperatures were predicted to reach 40 degrees; some areas were predicted to go as high as 42 degrees. Latest reports state that Tamil Nadu will be experiencing some light rains in the coming days.

To keep themselves protected from the heat, the public is advised to wear loose fitted clothing, to keep their skin wet with a sponge or a spray and frequently take showers. Most importantly, people must stay hydrated.
