BHUBANESWAR: Freed Italian tourist guide Paolo Bosusco will return to his hometown Pralesio to be with his 89-year-old father Azelio once investigation into his abduction is wound up by a Roman court. The 52-year-old guide, who was released on Wednesday night from Maoist captivity, flew back to Italy where he was greeted by his grand-daughter Karin. He also plans to catch up with Claudio Colangelo, the other Italian who was abducted and freed later. According sources close to Paolo, the tourist guide expressed his gratitude to the people of Odisha who stood by him during the traumatic abduction. “India is in my heart. I know people organised torch-light processions for me. I thank all those who stood by me,” he told local media. His next goal is to look for work. Asked if he would like to be part of a reality TV show, he joked __ he is not photogenic to be part of a programme. Now that he is famous he could offer expertise on animals. “I do not fear the animals, even the most fierce,” he said apparently hinting at the Red rebels. Will he write a book? Paolo is not exactly averse to the idea given his experience in the State, particularly the last one month. Paolo, who was in Fiumicino on Saturday morning, proceeded to be with his public prosecutor in Rome for investigation on the abduction since a case has been opened. He has also expressed his willingness to meet Claudio and also have Italian food since the latter’s wife is a good cook. After hearing in his abduction case is over, he will return to his hometown __ Pralesio __ located in Condove Municipality of Turin province __ where he used to spend the summer with his father.
