It is the symbol of our social and cultural unity and is the main connecting language between the people. Hindi also has a significant role in connecting the government and the people," he said at a function, 'Rajbhasha Samaroh', organised by the Home Ministry.
Giving awards to different ministries and departments for their initiatives for promoting Hindi, the President expressed the hope that the 'Rajbhasha Awards' would further encourage people to adopt the language.
