CHENNAI: A consistent high-scorer from PS Senior Secondary School, Sumana KA, who secured a total of 491 in the Class XII CBSE exams said her plan of studying for four hours everyday did her the trick in the exams .Sumana, a student of the Science stream, scored centums each in Maths and Biology, apart from 98 in English and Physics and 95 in Chemistry. Daughter of Shailaja, a Mathematics teacher in the same school, and Sridhar, an AGM in the Salem Steel Plant, Sumana said she was very excited as she had scored more than she had anticipated. But the battle is hardly over for the 18-year-old as she has now set her eyes on clearing the medical entrance exams. Sumana had relied entirely on the school’s coaching for the final exam.
