Functionaries from other parties join AIADMK

CHENNAI: Functionaries from DMK, DMDK and PMK from Virudhunagar  and Tiruvallur districts have joined the AIADMK in the presence of party general secretary and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Thursday.Functionaries and cadre from DMK and PMK numbering 300 from Virudhunagar district and 25 functionaries from PMK and MDMK from Tiruvallur district joined the AIADMK. Of the 325 persons, 25 from Virudhunagar district and 25 from Tiruvallur joined the AIADMK as members of the party in the presence of Jayalalithaa at her Poes Garden residence here. AIADMK’s student’s wing secretary and IT Minister RB Udhayakumar and party’s Tiruvallur North district secretary and Handlooms Minister BV Ramana were present.
