Does EarnIn work with Chime?
It's being tested. Currently, a small group of accounts can test linking Chime to EarnIn. Since Chime allows early paychecks (2 days in advance of a scheduled payday), EarnIn has been unable to support all Chime users fully.
Am I eligible to use my Chime account with EarnIn?
Check if you can add Chime as a bank account. When you change or add a bank account, you will most likely see "Chime" in the list of available banking accounts. However, only a few EarnIn users will be able to connect Chime. An error message will pop up if you aren't part of the test group to use Chime with EarnIn. If you are able to link your accounts, you won't encounter an error message. Note that if you link your Chime account, you also need to turn on Allow Transactions in your Chime settings so EarnIn can send transfers and payday deposits to it.
Turn on "Allow transactions" in Chime. You need to enable this option in Chime so EarnIn can make deposits to your account. To turn on transactions from the website, go to Settings > Account Settings > tap the toggle next to "Allow transactions" so the switch is on.
Changing Your Bank Account in EarnIn
Tap ☰. This three-line icon is in the lower right corner of your screen. If you just downloaded EarnIn for the first time, you’ll be prompted to add a new bank account as soon as you open the app. Otherwise, you’ll need to change your account from the ☰ menu.
Tap Linked Bank Account. This offers more options.
Tap Change. You'll see this next to your current bank information.
Select the bank you want to use from the drop-down list. Most users will see "Chime" as an option, but only a few will be able to actually use it.
Enter your banking username and password. You'll need this information regardless of what bank you're using.

Tips from Around the Web
Make sure the names on both accounts are identical. You'll have trouble trying to link a Chime and EarnIn account if the names are different. For example, a Chime account for John F Doe will have trouble connecting to an EarnIn account with the name John Doe.
Incorrect setup may cause the link to fail if your account is eligible. In other words, if you don't turn on Allow transactions in Chime, your EarnIn account won't be able to transfer or access your Chime account properly, resulting in a disconnection.
EarnIn does not work with prepaid cards and savings accounts. A linked checking account is required. EarnIn is not compatible with SSI, disability pay, unemployment wages, or veterans' benefits.
EarnIn Alternatives for Chime Users
If you need to link Chime with a cash-advance service, here are some alternatives: SpotMe (allows you to overdraft your account by $200 without fees, which makes it the best alternative) Dave (gives you up to $500 in advance with the "ExtraCash" feature. It's a very popular alternativehttps://www.reddit.com/r/chimefinancial/comments/1fa7exk/are_there_any_apps_like_earnin_that_work_with/ ) Cleo (user-friendly interface with great AI-driven financial management tools) This wikiHow article lists more, but these are the most recommended apps to use instead of EarnIn.
