The bodies of four family members who allegedly committed suicide by jumping into Yamuna river in Mathura were fished out on Wednesday by the PAC divers, while search was on for the fifth member of the family.

The bodies of four family members who allegedly committed suicide by jumping into Yamuna river in Mathura were fished out on Wednesday by the PAC divers, while search was on for the fifth member of the family.

School teacher Amar Singh (35) along with his wife Meena (30), daughters Ekta (8), Anupama (5) and Aditi (3) allegedly jumped into Yamuna river from Shergadh bridge in Mathura on July 1.  "Bodies of Amar and Anupama were found on Tuesday," Deputy SP R K Gautam said, adding bodies of Ekta and Aditi were fished out from the river on Wednesday.

All the bodies were found near Nagala Ova falling under Shergarh police station, he said.  Nagla ova is about ten kms away from Shergarh bridge. "Efforts are being made to find Meena's body at the earliest," he said.
