Fire at pharma unit

A major fire took place at Auctus Pharma Limited (APL), a unit of the Ramky Pharma City at Parawada, in the wee hours of Tuesday.

According to reports reaching here, a short circuit in the electrical panel of the production block - II of the company is the cause of the incident.

The fire soon spread over to the other departments including the generator room where diesel was stored.

However, no casualties have been reported.

Fire-tenders from Ramky Pharma City rushed to the spot and controlled the flames.
