Kashmiri separatist Ghulam Nabi Fai was sentenced to a 2-year jail term by a US court on Friday for lobbying in the US govt to affect its policy on Kashmir.
New Delhi: Hurriyat Conference (G) leader Syed Geelani on Saturday called for a bandh in Kashmir against the two-year jail term handed down to fellow separatist Ghulam Nabi Fai by a US court.
Fai was charged with lobbying in the US government to affect American policy on Kashmir.
He has also been accused of accepting money from the Pakistani intelligence agency, ISI, for the lobby work.
