New Delhi: Bollywood film producer Mukesh Bhatt, who is one of the jury members of 13th Mumbai Film Festival (MFF), says he is looking forward to experience brilliance of world cinema in the event.
Bhatt, 59, is the judge of festival's Harmony Celebrate Age (HCA) section- which showcases ad-films, short fiction films, documentaries and feature length films - along with 'Khatta Meetha' director Basu Chatterjee, Avantika Akerkar and
Suhasini Mulay.
"I am going to go as an open minded person and let the brilliance of world cinema come into my consciousness, and then my heart and mind decide what is best," he said.
"As a filmmaker one should sign up for any jury with an open mind. So I don't want to restrict myself and precondition my mind to look forward to anything in particular or any sort of favoritism. It is not fair to the film maker," Bhatt said.
Commencing from October 13, the eight-day-long film extravaganza will see 10 films from across the world in HCA section.
