New Delhi: Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) hospital, the Capital's biggest government hospital has stopped all medical services.

Hundreds of doctors, nurses and medical staff have been on strike since Wednesday morning following Tuesday's clash between medical staff and the relatives of a patient who died of brain haemorrage.

Seven hospital employees, including two doctors and a nurse, were injured in the clash.

Emergency services at the hospital are paralysed and critically ill patients and pregnant women have been unattended since Tuesday.

Meanwhile, lifts have stopped working as the protesters have cut off power. Water supply has also been severely affected and therefore no new patients are being admitted to the hospital.
