New Delhi: The Delhi Metro services suffered a hit yet again on Wednesday evening after the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro connecting Noida/Vaishali and West Delhi areas saw a disruption in its regular services. Snapping of a strand of Over Head Equipment (OHE) wires between Dwarka and Dwarka Mod station on the Blue line is believed to be the reason for the delay.
Owing to the disruption, a single line operation is going on between Dwarka and Janakpuri West metro station. To avoid crowd at the metro station, a short loop of trains is running between the Rajiv Chowk station and the Janakpuri West station.
Officials have assured restoration of normalcy as soon as OHE wire is repaired.
Meanwhile, Twitter is abuzz with tweets from passengers who have been left stranded due to delayed metro services.
