PUDUCHERRY: Fifty-nine CPML activists, including eight women, were arrested when they held a road blockade here on Tuesday to demand the enactment of Lokpal Bill. They also urged the Puducherry government to bring in a state legislation to fight corruption.S Balasubramanian, activist, said that the Union government should not delay the passing of the Lokpal Bill on one pretext or other as the corruption was rampant in various spheres of society. The activists were later arrested.
