HYDERABAD: A city police constable ended his life due to family problems on Sunday while an accused in the murder of his mother-in-law hanged himself to death on Saturday night, depressed over his wife leaving him.In the first incident, a constable of Chaderghat police station, M Bhaskar (24) hanged himself to death in his house at Goshamahal police quarters on Sunday afternoon. Bhaskar fell in love with a girl, Mary who used to study in St Ann's College a year back and married her six months back. "Bhaskar got addicted to alcohol and the couple used to quarrel over the issue frequently. This led to differences between the two,'' Shahinayathgunj police inspector P Sattaiah said.Police said Bhaskar's relatives visited their house on Saturday night and left on Sunday morning asking Bhaskar to attend Sunday service. Soon after the relatives left, Bhaskar had a tiff with his wife after which he went to his room around 1.30 p.m. As Bhaskar did not come out for sometime, she went inside and found her husband hanging from the ceiling fan. Bhaskar was rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead. Police did not find any suicide note and a case of suspicious death was registered.Meanwhile, a 34-year-old person, who was accused in the killing of his mother-in-law hanged himself at Moghulpura on Saturday. Amjed Khan, a businessman was a resident of Komatwadi in Alijahkotla. He was accused in the killing of his mother-in-law, which took place in November. He got released on bail on January 12 and tried to meet his wife and children who had gone to her home. Depressed over this, Amjed hanged himself .
