Competition Commission of India asks reply from KFCC
CCI has asked reply from KFCC to explain their stand on stop dubbing other language films in Kannada.

The 2000 pages case asking reasons for stopping dubbed films in Kannada from other languages - filed by Mr Ganesh Chetan that has lead to deep discussions and heart burning situation for bigwigs of Kannada cinema industry is taken up for discussion by Kannada Film Industry on November 29 evening.

In an urgently convened meeting by apex body, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce was attended by all the bigwigs concerned to Kannada cinema industry.

Competition Commission of India asking explanation on why dubbing is not allowed in Karnataka state on a complaint received from Ganesh Chetan was a subject of discussion at Atria Hotel today evening. The meeting went on for nearly two hours.

The CCI has sent copies letter to KFCC, KFPA, KANFIDA, KCWF, KCA and KTA heads of the association to explain their stand before December 4, 2012.

At a crucial meeting presided over by KFCC President B Vijayakumar, super star Shivarajakumar, Upendra, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Jaggesh, KV Chandrasekhar, Dr Jayamala, RocklineVenkatesh, cinema workers federation Ashok, directors association president MS Ramesh, Kannada Film Producers Association President Munirathna Naidu, Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy Chairperson Thara Anooradha, committee members of KFCC were present.

Representing the Artists Association Shivaraj Kumar was of the firm opinion that we should give a reply in the purview of the constitution.
