Bollywood actresses, including Sonam Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and others, are celebrating Karwa Chauth. They took to their social handles and flaunted mehendi (applied on hands as part of the celebration). Following the trend, Parineeti Chopra and Rakul Preet Singh flaunted their minimalist mehendi designs as they embraced the festive spirit. Married women across India celebrate Karwa Chauth for the well-being and long life of their husbands.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Parineeti Chopra shared the mehendi design and also how the house has been decorated for the festival. Raghav Chaddha is also seen checking the preparations. Rakul Preet Singh also shared the simple mehendi design on her Instagram stories. This will be her first Karwa Chauth. Sonam Kapoor took to her Instagram Stories and revealed that she doesn’t follow the tradition. However, she does enjoy the festivities around it. Sonam joined her family on Saturday night to apply mehendi and sit with fellow married women who were observing the fast.

Kiara Advani also flew to New Delhi to celebrate the festival with family. She flaunted her mehendi which showed SM’s initial written on it.

The video has sparked speculation that Kapoor and Chopra might be seen collaborating on a new project.
On the other hand, Rakul Preet Singh has been shooting for much-awaited sequel to ‘De De Pyaar De’, titled ‘De De Pyaar De 2’. In the sequel, R Madhavan will take on the role of Rakul Preet Singh’s father, with a humorous rapport developing between his character and Ajay Devgn’s character, Ashish. The Punjab scenes will focus on traditional, homely settings, avoiding any romantic elements. Most of the shoot will take place in a bungalow and around farms, as the production team is working at full speed to capture the beauty of rural life.
