New Delhi: Underworld gangster Chhota Rajan will leave for India on Thursday morning and will land in Delhi in the afternoon, sources said.
According to the sources, Rajan will be sent to India from Bali on a special flight.
Earlier in the day, the sources suggested that the first agency that will question the gangster post his arrival in India is the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). CBI officials are likely to escort Rajan from Delhi IGI airport to the CBI headquarters in the national capital where he is expected to be questioned.
Following the questioning, Rajan is likely to be shifted to a special cell of the Delhi Police.
Rajan, who was arrested in Bali on his arrival from Australia on October 25, is wanted in over 75 heinous crimes ranging from murder, extortion to smuggling and drug trafficking.
Rajan was arrested in Bali on the basis of a Red Corner Notice from Interpol and following a tip off by Australian authorities to the police in Indonesia.
