Empowered under Jharkhand University Act, 2000 Section 9 (4), the Chancellor scrapped the appointment of Financial Official Ajay Kumar Ram, University Examiner (Art/Commerce) Naveen Prasad and assistant Registrar Anil Kumar Oraon, an official communique said in Ranchi.
The cancellation of the appointment came after a five-member committee allegedly did not find the three officials meeting the criteria laid down for the appointments by the 2010 Jharkhand Public Service Commission s advertisement, yet selected for the respective posts, it addded.
