THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Central Bank of India (CBI) will celebrate its centenary on December 21. Addressing media persons here on Thursday, CBI regional manager Rajshekar Bhaskaran said that the regional office would celebrate the occasion with various programmes. The programmes include celebrating special children’s day in various schools, visiting the inmates of Abhayagramam, planting saplings at All Saints College and Sainik School, organising blood donation camps in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Pathanamthitta, conducting self-help group melas in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam and honouring freedom fighters and war widows. A grand customers’ meet will also be held on the day, Bhaskaran said.
