Catch Iron Maiden in B'lore this month

New Delhi: British heavy metal band Iron Maiden will perform in Bangalore this month, their first-ever tour to India, the group said on Friday.

“It's very special for us to play to new fans in countries we've never been before," the band's vocalist, Bruce Dickinson, said in a statement.

“We hear the Indian fans are very loud and into their metal." Iron Maiden's new album, Matter of Life and Death, reached number two on Indian album charts.

The six-member band has more than 25 albums to their credit and a dedicated following in India. "The whole trip will be an exciting time for us and we intend to enjoy every moment there," Dickinson said.
