Captain will be taught a lesson: N R Sivapathy

TIRUCHY: Apparently lashing out at former ally and DMDK leader Vijayakant, State Minister for School Education and Sports and Youth Welfare, N R Sivapathy asserted that the end for ungrateful persons was nearing.In a veiled reference to Vijayakant, in the presence of Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, Minister Sivapathy said: “it was Amma who lifted a few persons who were desolate like a single tree. However, those people had turned ungrateful”.Speaking at a function at Srirangam where the Chief Minister distributed welfare assistance to the people, he said “the time has to come to write the last chapter to those ungrateful persons”.Describing AIADMK supremo as a ‘one-man army’, he said she was protecting the party.Referring to the Chief Minister’s announcement of relief and rehabilitation package for the people of Cuddalore and Villupuram districts hit by cyclone Thane, Sivapathy said the Chief Minister acted faster than the speed of the cyclone, to provide relief to the people. Sivapathy said “in front of the Goddess Akilandeswari temple, I swear that our Chief Minister is Goddess Akilandeswari for me, since she has selected and elevated me to the present level.”
