Bus passenger loses arm after it hits post

KOCHI: In a gruesome incident, the left arm of a 21 year old person ripped off after hitting at a way side iron post while he was travelling in a private bus at Pothoottu road in Kanjiramattom on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred while Shukur, a native of Kolkata, was travelling in the private bus with his left arm kept on the window sill. When the bus took a sudden turn, his arm hit a wayside iron post and in the impact his arm ripped off and fell into a canal.Locals who rushed to the spot jumped into the canal and fished out the chopped part. He was immediately rushed to Specialists' Hospital in Kochi.
