Britney Spears has made an endeavour to help needy children by donating her personal belongings for an auction.

Washington: Mother of two, Britney Spears has made an endeavour to help needy children by donating 170 personal belongings and other memorabilia.

Apart from clothing and accessories, other donated items from the pop diva for the December 4, 2006 online Christie's auction include a homework she completed when she was a teenager, and is now expected to help benefit the Britney Spears Foundation.

The junior high school paper, based on Rex Warner's translation of Sophocles' Antigone, earned the future pop singer a respectable grade of 88 out of 100 points, and is now estimated to sell for between 500 dollars and 700 dollars when auctioned on Monday.

Contactmusic reports that the 24-year-old singer's paper had selling errors, as it carried Spears' teacher comments such as "Nice cover" and "Watch out for spelling mistakes" on its back.
