The official launch of the Bhagyavarsha scheme chits under the aegis of the Kerala State Financial Enterprises (KSFE) was held here on Monday. K Muraleedharan MLA launched the scheme, while KSFE chairman P T Jose presided over the function.
The scheme, introduced as part of the Onam-Ramzan festival season, will be open for subscribers for three months till October end.
The attraction of the scheme is that subscribers will be entitled to become lucky winners and bag gold sovereigns, topped with a first prize of 15 sovereigns.
P T Jose said that the KSFE is committed to spread the reach of the organisation across the state, considering the fact that around 700 grama panchayats in the state does not have a KSFE branch so far. KSFE managing director P Rajendran welcomed the gathering. M M Francis, P M Sherrif, Job Michael, Tomy K Thomas, N M Nair, K K Cherian, Attingal Ramachandran, R Ramachandran Nair, Peringamala Ramachandran and C Chandramohan spoke. KSFE AGM G S Manoj proposed a vote of thanks.
