KOCHI: ING Life India launched ‘Say-No-to-Plastics,’ an anti-plastic campaign, for the people of Kerala. As part of the campaign, employees of various branches of ING Life will approach people with an appeal to take a pledge against using plastic. The employees will also distribute cloth bags.  The company expects over 1,000 families to participate in the campaign in Kochi alone. “We believe that we have to contribute towards a cleaner and greener environment. Our endeavours to involve citizens have been very encouraging in the past. We hope to contribute towards sensitising citizens on the adverse effect of using plastic,” said Balakrishnan V, vice-president, sales, tied agency, Kerala, ING Life India.   More than 3,000 ING Life employees across the 200 cities are participating in the campaign. The company expects an enthusiastic response from citizens across the country, ING Life India is in its 10th year of operations. It has a presence spanning over 200 cities across the country, with over 33,000 tied agents and a strong bank assurance partner, ING Vysya Bank.
