New Delhi: Self-styled godman Asaram, who is facing sexual assault charges, seems to be scared and jittery at the prospects of going to jail. Asarm who was on way to Bhopal via Surat from Mumbai alleged that there was a big conspiracy against him and he could be ill treated in jail.
He said that he will go on fast if he was sent to jail as he feared that he might be given food which could harm him.
He added that saints across the country have rallied in his support.
Sources say some political leaders are backing Asaram. Former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and BJP leader Uma Bharti and some of her colleagues have come out in support of Asaram.
