Mumbai: Actor John Abraham, a supporter of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), has clarified that all animals shown in his upcoming film 'Housefull 2' are fake, and a declaration in this regard will be issued too.
The trailer of 'Housefull 2' is there for all to see, and just like the first franchise, this movie too has made use of some animals in certain scenes.
"There's going to be a statement to that effect even in the film that the animals used are fake. That's something we have completely taken care of. I am saying it being a PETA activist. No animal was hurt and all animals used were fake. That was one condition," the 39-year-old said at the promo launch of 'Housefull 2'.
Director Sajid Khan says it was important for him to use the animal angle in the film as kids love them.
"Kids love animals so I will never, ever make a 'Housefull' film without animals. Riteish Deshmukh and Akshay Kumar are going to extract an alligator's tooth in the film, it is going to be hilarious and kids will love it," the 40-year-old writer-director said.
'Housefull 2' hits theatres April 5.
